I'm back..again. Too much travelling to the same place can be quite a chore sometimes.
But it was kind of interesting to see plantations and houses partially submerged in water. I mean, yes I do feel sorry for those who have had their property damaged and I am definitely not gloating here, just that seeing things in water interests me, as weird as it sounds. If I could, I would have taken a long stick, stand at the side of the road and dip the stick in to see how deep the water is. Yup, kid at heart. lol.
I have finally gotten a job, thanks to Ah Ma. Yes, thank you Ah Ma! It's nothing very much but it's a good start. I realised that when I applied for jobs, practically all place emphasis on previous job experiences and so this shall be a job experience although the money isn't very good.
Now that I'm one step closer to the harsh world of reality, I would like to tell all people out there that
1) it's not easy to find a job
2) it's not easy to earn money
so, all the girlies out there still dreaming of a rich, handsome guy, either go to my school or scrap that dream, dig in your heels and work hard (if you rise to the top, that's where all the rich guys are too)
Anyway, since I was holidaying at a familiar place, there was no need to use my brains (zombie-function was on automatic) and therefore I could use the time and my brains to reflect on my life thus far.
I still haven't figured out if I've screwed my life up or whether things would work out but I guess I just have to wait and see. Oh March, dreaded month! Yes yes, I still have nightmares. Sigh. Psychological trauma.
And the other things I've screwed up too. Santa won't be bringing any presents this xmas for me I'm afraid. Anyway, it's not like he'll go rob Kino to bring me Atwood's "The Blind Assassin" coz I don't believe Santa produces books in the north pole.
Maria, I still owe you one outing. Let's meet up soon! :D
